We here at Charbrew believe that our customers should come first, that's why we have taken an oath to provide you with the most brilliant tea recipes by the brainiest boffins in the business. All our teas are made with the finest tea leaves and contain real fruit pieces as well as the highest quality spices from around the world.
Adam started Charbrew in August of 2009. After graduating at from Newcastle University, he embarked on an adventure that would change the world of tea as we know it. After discovering plantations in the Far East and Asia as well as tasting blends across Europe, Adam came to realise tea drinking Brits had lost their ritual and character and simply we were just getting boring. Charbrew was created to put Britain back on the map as a quality and adventurous tea drinking nation.
Initially starting out at farmers markets, Charbrew is now one of the UK’s fastest-growing speciality tea brands for the adventurous and discerning tea drinkers. With unique blend such as Tropical Rooibos and Strawberry and Cream Charbrew brings new and interesting tastes alongside traditional whole leaf blends.
We a strong supporter of green issues and we have taken major steps to reduce the impact we have on the planet. Our innovative pyramid teabag design is both aesthetically pleasing and 100% biodegradable. Our pyramids allow for the infusion of the whole leaves, herb, fruit and spices which can be found in our blends.
We work with accredited plantations that hold environmental concern as well as sustainable farming at the top of their agenda. Our latest partner is a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact as well as being one of very few certified carbon free plantations in the world.
We also hold social responsibility as a core value in our company model in our second year of trading we have dedicated £20,000 to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer in the UK.
